Anne Mary Palmer was my grandfather's sister.

She was born in Dublin to Benjamin Michael and Annie Palmer, about 1879. Anne had at least two brothers, Benjamin Norman and George Christopher. At some time, she helped her father to run his wholsale salt business.

She married William Humphries, an Engineer in the Post Office (probably between 1901 and 1911), and lived at 11 Charleville Road, Rathmines, Dublin. They had five children, Anne (1903 -1984), William (d about 1990), Martha (c. 1908-1969), Carmel (c. 1909 -1986) and Alban (c.1912 - 1985).

Anne died on 21 May 1956.
