Josephine was my grandfather's sister. She was the daughter of Thomas and Frances Doherty, who lived at 5 Hawthorn Terrace, Derry.

Josephine was born in Derry about 1883, and had four known brothers, Thomas, William, John and Michael and two sisters, Mary Anne and Ellen. She had a further unknown sibling.
