Kathleen Bridget Crumlish was the daughter of John and Anne Crumlish. She was born in Moville, Co. Donegal on 27 September 1881.

She had eight brothers and sisters: Mary Anne (my grandmother), Denis, Margaret, Frances, Theresa, Nora, Evelyn and Charlie.

Kathleen married John Joseph Duffy and they had five children, PJ, John Finbar, Maggie, Bernadette and Francis. Most of the children emigrated to America.

Kathleen died on 16 March 1974.
