Margaret "Maisie" Palmer was my aunt.

She was born in 1903 in Belfast, Ireland, the eldest daughter of Benjamin Norman and Josephine Palmer.

She had one brother, Benny and three sisters, Anne, Olive and Martha. Maisie was raised in Derry, but eventually moved to London where she married Tom Quinn (b. Sligo 1911 d. London 1982) at Saint Augustines RC Church, Hammersmith on 06 June 1933.

After the death of her father in 1914, Maisie left the convent where she was being educated, and went to work in the shirt factory in Derry. She loved needlework, and made clothes and soft toys. Maisie had great psychic ability. She was also an amateur actor with St Columb's Guilds Dramatic Society.

Tom and Maisie lived in Girdlers Road and Talgarth Road, in the Hammersmith area of London, before moving to 15 Glazbury Road, West Kensington W14, where they lived for the rest of their lives. They had four children, Olive (b. 1935), Patricia (b. 1936), Anthony (1938 - 2004) and Margaret (b. 1940).

Maisie died at her daughter's house, in Banstead, Surrey, in August 1990.
